By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. - 1 John 3:16

All of civilization rides on the shoulders of men. The very fabric of society is held together or unravels by how men think of themselves, how they relate to each other and their families and the choices they make toward selfishness or selflessness.

It is a heavy burden they bear, given them by God, and the world is doing all that it can to undermine men at every turn. TV and popular culture constantly try to portray men as immature and incapable, self centered and gullible. Men are told to pursue self gratification and toys as a means of fulfillment.

Godly men must bind together to withstand this flow of folly and influence our culture with a Biblical picture of what and who men are created to be. Pastor Scott and the men of Hope 4 Life meet every fourth Sunday evening at 6pm to encourage each other with fellowship, conversation, laughter and discussion of the Biblical perspective on issues that face men today.

Men are meant to be defenders of their families and champions against the darkness and lies that occupy our culture today. Together they can overcome!
